Several studies have shown an increased chance of developing the following cancers, when hyperparathyroidism is present. And, the longer the hyperparathyroidism is left untreated (surgically removed), the higher the incidence of cancer:
Prostate Cancer
Breast Cancer
And to a lesser degree:
Kidney Cancer
Bladder Cancer
